Bernard Parker to leave Kaizer Chiefs as an absolute Amakhosi legend!


Bernard Parker will leave Kaizer Chiefs, whenever that is, as an absolute legend after giving his all for the club since his arrival in 2011.

The veteran player, who is 36-years-old, has been with Chiefs for 11 years now, and while there is talk of him leaving Naturena, that will not erase his legacy at the club.

On Saturday, Parker netted Amakhosi’s equaliser in the 2-2 draw at home against Swallows – and thus, helping Chiefs avoid defeat.

It was Parker’s fourth goal of the season for Chiefs, and he netted those goals in 24 league matches while also registering two assists.

BERNARD PARKER FURTHER CEMENTS KAIZER CHIEFS’ LEGENDARY STATUS

By scoring against Swallows, Parker took his tally of goals for Chiefs to 62 across all competitions since his arrival.

Parker scored the 62 goals in over 363 competitive matches for Amakhosi – and he is the club’s all-time goalscorer in the PSL era.

Behind him is Siphiwe Tshabalala with 58 goals while Knowledge Musona is sitting third in the all-time goalscoring charts with 40 goals.

Former Chiefs striker Collins Mbesuma is behind the trio with 36 goals for the club – the Zambian scored the 36 goals between 2003-2005.
