Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly are officially engaged! But taking away from the happy and exciting news was the actress’s engagement reveal, which had their followers a little disturbed.
The actress – who has been dating the rocker since 2020 – took to her Instagram to shed light on their special moment.
In a video clip posted on her account, MGK is seen getting down on one knee under a banyan tree as he asks Megan Fox to be his wife.
This all appears romantic enough, but it’s the Jennifer’s Body star’s caption that had fans a tad frazzled.
MEGAN FOX ANNOUNCES ENGAGEMENT TO MGK
Megan Fox posted the clip of their poetic love story: “In July of 2020 we sat under this banyan tree. We asked for magic.
“We were oblivious to the pain we would face together in such a short, frenetic period of time. Unaware of the work and sacrifices the relationship would require from us but intoxicated off of the love. And the karma.
“Somehow a year and a half later, having walked through hell together, and having laughed more than I ever imagined possible, he asked me to marry him.
“And just as in every lifetime before this one, and as in every lifetime that will follow it, I said yes”
Megan Fox – who admitted to once “going to hell” with MGK during a hallucinogenic drug trip – ended the caption on a bizarre note.
“…and then we drank each other’s blood”.
MGK shared a clip of the engagement ring on his Instagram page with an equally weird caption dedicated to Megan Fox.
He wrote:“I know tradition is one ring, but i designed it with Stephen Webster to be two: the emerald (her birthstone) and the diamond (my birthstone) set on two magnetic bands of thorns that draw together as two halves of the same soul forming the obscure heart that is our love”.
Whilst the couple were inundated with well wishes, many took to comment on Megan Fox’s choice of words.
“You did what now? Yall really had to end the caption like that?”
“What the f*** did I just read?”
“The caption! HELP! Literally the weirdest choice of words”
“Megan Fox knows Jennifer’s body was just a movie, right?”
