Pitso Mosimane had another go at Mamelodi Sundowns for the disruption of Al Ahly‘s bus that was denied entry into the FNB Stadium on Saturday.
The Al Ahly bus was on its way to the match venue but the entrance was barricaded, and Mosimane had to step out of the team bus and intervene.
Al Ahly eventually gained entry into the venue, and they would suffer a 1-0 loss to Sundowns who scored through Peter Shalulile.
Speaking to the media after the CAF Champions League game, Mosimane revealed how dirty Sundowns have played when it comes to him and Al Ahly since his departure.
In 2021, a section of Sundowns fans blocked Al Ahly’s bus in Atteridgeville and swore at Mosimane – the ugly scenes at the FNB Stadium reminded the Kagiso-born coach of last year.
Mosimane revealed that a lot of things also happened when Sundowns visited Al Ahly in Egypt in the first leg over a week ago.
The visibly emotional Mosimane urged Sundowns and their fans to leave him alone as he has moved on, saying he gave them a great them which now has three coaches.

“We must talk about what happened at Atteridgeville first when they blocked the bus. When they swore at my mother, my family,” said Mosimane.
“I don’t want to talk a lot about Sundowns. I will tell you what happened even when we played Sundowns last week; there is too many personal things. I’m over those things. I don’t want to talk about them, it’s unbelievable. I don’t want to talk anymore. I’ll talk on my book and on my documentary.”
“Even now, before every match, they are still after me these people. They don’t want to leave me alone. I’ve moved on. You’ve got a good team. It’s got three coaches.
“I mean really! What do you want? Move on! Leave me, I’m gone. I’ve done my best. I’ve given you a great team. Why are you after me? What do you want to achieve?” he asked.
“Very dirty. I’ll reveal it one day. There’s a lot, too much. The game is played on the pitch. The goal is legitimate, no problem. Thapelo’s goal in Cairo was a good goal.”
“Why do you do other underhand stuff and all that? It’s unbelievable. It’s really sad to be honest, for such a big team,” added Mosimane.
