IMPACT-BASED WARNINGS:

1. Yellow Level 1 for Damaging Waves resulting in disruption of small harbours and/or ports and localized disruption to beach front activities expected between Cannon Rocks and Port Edward, subsiding in the afternoon.

FIRE DANGER WARNINGS:

1.Extremely high fire danger conditions expected over Nama Khoi Municipality of the Northern Cape.

Temperature and UVB forecast

Gauteng:

Temperature: Partly cloudy and warm becoming cloudy with evening showers and thundershowers.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Low

Mpumalanga:

Temperature: Morning drizzle and fog along the escarpment, otherwise cloudy and cool with scattered showers and thundershowers but isolated in the north-east.

Limpopo:

Temperature: Cloudy in the east with morning drizzle, otherwise partly cloudy and warm with isolated showers and thundershowers.

North-West Province:

Temperature: Fine at first, otherwise cloudy and cool to warm with scattered afternoon showers and thundershowers.

Free State:

Temperature: Morning fog patches in the east, otherwise cloudy and cool to warm with isolated to scattered afternoon showers and thundershowers, but fine in the west.

Northern Cape:

Temperature: Fine and warm, but hot in the extreme north-west, becoming partly cloudy to cloudy and cool with isolated afternoon showers and thundershowers in the north-east

Wind: The wind along the coast will be southerly to south-easterly.

Western Cape:

Temperature: Fine in the west, otherwise cloudy to partly cloudy and cool to warm with isolated light rain along the eastern parts of the south-coast in the morning.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh southerly to south-easterly but strong along the west-coast.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: High.

Eastern Cape:

The Western half –Cloudy and cool with isolated light rain along the coast. It will become partly cloudy in the evening south of the escarpment

The Western half -Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate south-easterly to easterly.

The Eastern half -Cloudy and cool with isolated light rain along the coast. It will become cloudy in the evening south of the escarpment.

The Eastern half – The wind along the coast will be moderate south-easterly.

Kwazulu-Natal:

Temperature: Cloudy and cool but cold in the west with scattered showers and thundershowers.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh southerly to south-westerly.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Moderate.
