Temperature and UVB forecast

Gauteng:

Temperature: Fine and cool.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: High.

Mpumalanga:

Temperature: Fine and cool, but partly cloudy in the north.

Limpopo:

Temperature: Partly cloudy and cool.

North-West Province:

Temperature: Fine and cold to cool.

Free State:

Temperature: Cloudy in the southern parts at first, otherwise fine and cold.

Northern Cape:

Temperature: Cloudy in the south-western high ground, where it will be very cold, otherwise partly cloudy and cold to cool but fine in the east and north-east.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be fresh to strong north-westerly, becoming light to moderate westerly to south-westerly by the evening.

Western Cape:

Temperature: Cloudy and cold to cool with isolated light rain along the west-coast in the morning as well as along the south-west coast and adjacent interior from the afternoon.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be light to moderate westerly to north-westerly in the west, otherwise fresh to strong.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Low.

Eastern Cape:

The Western half – Cloudy with isolated morning showers and rain along the south-coast and its adjacent interior, otherwise partly cloudy and cool.

The Western half -Wind: The wind along the coast will be light to moderate south-westerly.

The Eastern half – Cold in the north, otherwise partly cloudy and cool with isolated morning showers and rain. Light snowfall is expected over the southern Drakensberg at first.

The Eastern half -The wind along the coast will be light to moderate south-westerly.

Kwazulu-Natal:

Temperature: Partly cloudy and cool but warm in the north-east.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh north-westerly north of Richards Bay at first, otherwise moderate south-westerly.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Moderate.
