FIRE DANGER WARNINGS:

1.Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected in placesonly in the Central Karoo of the Western Cape.

ADVISORIES:

1. Heat wave conditions are expected over the western parts of Namakwa, eastern parts of Garden Route and Witzenberg Municipality in the Western Cape until Monday.

Gauteng:

Temperature: Partly cloudy and warm.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: High

Mpumalanga:

Temperature: Cloudy in the east at first with fog patches over the southernHighveld, otherwise partly cloudy and cool to warm, but hot in places in the Lowveld.

Limpopo:

Temperature: Cloudy in the east with isolated showers and rain in places along the escarpment, Lowveld and the Limpopo Valley, otherwise partly cloudy and warm but hot in places in the Western Bushveld.

North-West Province:

Temperature: Partly cloudy and warm to hot.

Free State:

Temperature: Cloudy in the east at first with morning fog patches, otherwise partly cloudy and warm.

Northern Cape:

Temperature: Partly cloudy and warm to hot but very hot in the west with isolated showers and thundershowers except in the north east.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be fresh southerly but strong in the afternoon

Western Cape:

Temperature: Foggy along the south and south-west coast in the morning,otherwise cloudy to partly cloudy and warm to hot but very hot in places over the interior. Isolated showers and thundershowerscan be expected over the east and north-eastern parts.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate southerly becoming strong in the west and south-west, otherwise moderate westerly in the south becoming fresh south-westerly by afternoon.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: High.

Eastern Cape:

The Western half –Cloudy with mist along the coast and adjacent interior in the morning otherwise fine and hot to very hot but warm along the coast and adjacent interior becoming cloudy with isolated thundershowers and showers over the western interior from late afternoon.

The Western half – Wind: The wind along the coast will be fresh to strong south westerly.

The Eastern half – Fine and hot to very hot, becoming partly cloudy along the coastand adjacent interior.

The Eastern half Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh south westerly.

Kwazulu-Natal:

Temperature: Morning fog over the interior and rain in the north-east, otherwisepartly cloudy and warm.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be Moderate to fresh easterly to north-easterly.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Very High.
