Stellenbosch FC discard finds a new home at Swallows



Swallows FC have confirmed the signing of striker Waseem Isaacs from fellow DStv Premiership side Stellenbosch FC.

Isaacs’ agent revealed to Soccer Laduma that his 31-year-old client has signed a new two-year contract to join The Birds with the option of extending for another year.

“It’s a two plus one (year option). I’m happy for the player because it was what he really wanted, and we just made it happen for him,” Nieuwenhuys confirmed.

Dylan Kerr’s side are still in the market for more signings, with University of Pretoria trio Keegan Allan, Thabang Sibanyoni and Thakasani Mbanjwa all linked with a move to the club.

Swallows escaped relegation last season

Swallows narrowly avoided relegation by coming out on top in the promotion/relegation playoffs with University of Pretoria and Cape Town All Stars.
